I'd like to join me in welcoming you to the premature introductory message to this, the holiday blog of Frances and Rikki, intrepid travellers and citizens of the world. Laugh as we freeze on the ice mountains of Canada. Cry as we get to do cool stuff that you don't. Laugh again as we don't actually get around to posting anything on here and this is the only message that we create :)

Hurrah! You are coming to visit us in this cold, wet, miserable... I mean lovely friendly sunny Canadian place. Whistler opened last weekend - the earliest start to the season in 20 years! So stock up on Vitamin D and come play in the snow.
Cool Blog by the way - nice photo of the two of you except I opened it in 'large' format and just about fell backwards off my chair... stupid 19 inch monitors...
Oh I'm sorry Dave, it didn't look so huge on my 23 inch monitor :)
Is see, well it's not about the size of your monitor but how you use it... right now I am doing AutoCAD drawings of a tailings dam in the Andes... oooo... I get so excited.
And just to mess with you: shouldn't the name of your blog be Winter Oliday since you will be in winter the entire time you are away? ;)
